Tony Hawk's non-profit organization builds skate-parks across the country in areas where there are low income and high crime rates. He created this program to give children a home away from home and to help shape there character and to teach lessons in leadership, perseverance, and initiative.
This advertisement was created to raise awareness of the issue that children have nowhere to turn if there is nowhere for them to go. There are over 13 million skaters compared to 2,500 skate parks they have to use. "Let's change the numbers" was the tag-line we choose to get this message across.
